Purplish Detox Smoothie

This smoothie is full of detoxifying ingredients to assist the body in cleansing itself.  The chia seeds add protein and help move things along in the digestive tract.

This is not an overly sweet smoothie, but not bad tasting at all!  You can always add a little stevia to taste if you prefer that hint of sweet.

1 tbsp chia seeds soaked in 1/4 cup water for 10 minutes

1 c de-stemmed kale

2 c frozen blueberry/raspberry mixture (you can also use 2 cups of either if you only have one on hand)

2 c chopped red cabbage

2 c plant based milk or water

Optional:  Stevia to taste

Blend all ingredients in high speed blender until smooth.

Serve immediately and store the other half in an air tight container.
