DAY 11: Juice Haul

This is a follow up to the juicing app.

I have been wanting to add this into my treatment plan just didn’t know how I would find the energy to do it regularly.

So, my amazing mother to the rescue.  We went to Costco and bought a ton of fruit and vegetables that I know I can have and some 500ml glass mason jars.  And guess what, we made a TON of juices, to FREEZE.


Yes, you can freeze juice, just make sure you leave a little space at the top and freeze right away after juicing.

This is a great option, as you will not have to go through the process of juicing daily or even weekly.  Which I know I do not have the energy for right now.  We made about 9  different recipes from the app and they are all waiting in my freezer, ready to go when I am.  (Take out the night before or put in some warm water to thaw)

Here is the juice I had today from the app:  (P.S. It was phenomenal)


The Perfect Pear

8 kale leaves

1 Pear

1 Cucumber

1 Handful parsley

1/2 Lemon, peeled

My juicer is a Breville.  Although I would love to one day own a slow juicer aka a masticating juicer, as I have done a lot of research and this preserves the nutrients and vitamins better and for a longer period of time.  One day….until then, this baby does the job more than well.




A juice a day from now on.  I will share a new recipe whenever I try it out!
