DAY 38 Back on Track

Yesterday I posted a much needed update regarding my treatment plan.  I feel as though I needed to do so in order to force myself to take accountability and start taking care of myself again.

Today I feel much better already.  I feel like my body was going through a bit of a tailspin yesterday being so overworked trying to detox from all the crap I had put into it for a few days.

As the day went on and I stuck to my healthy meals, lots of water and rest, with the addition of a detox bath and face mask, I started to feel progressively better.  Don’t get me wrong, I still felt like garbage and was more than ready for bed when the time came, but I think I can safely say I am back on track.  My skin eruptions even calmed down overnight.  (Crazy what sugar and gluten can do to our bodies!!)

My LLMD in the US got back to me this morning (isn’t she great?)  She has advised me that I am doing the right thing and to wait to see what the GI specialist has to say about my symptoms and obviously to stay away from sugar and keep on the probiotics.

*Sigh of relief*  Now I just have to keep it up until my next appointment with my new LLRN (Lyme Literate Registered Nurse?), which will be once my blood test results come in.

Today is a good day…I can feel it 🙂
